STEPHEN JACKSON – VICE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS

My background is in higher education. For many years I taught Human Geography and Urban Studies at Liverpool John Moores University and also became involved in institutional developments in teaching and learning. More recently I worked for the Quality Assurance Agency, the organization that assured standards in UK Universities. As a Fellow of the RSA I am very pleased to have the opportunity to support the work of Arrow Vale and the Trust.

CHRIS ELSTON – SAFEGUARDING GOVERNOR

My background is in the electricity industry.  I have a degree in Engineering Science from Oxford University and followed a career in power station engineering, initially with the nationalised Generating Board and then with various successor organisations after the industry was privatised. My responsibilities have included the construction and operation of all types of power stations. My interest in education came through my involvement in the RSA and began with mentoring pupils at the then RSA Academy at Whitley in Coventry.  I became a governor at Arrow Vale in 2020.
