CAREERS EDUCATION, INFORMATION, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE (CEIAG)
When it comes to careers education, information, advice and guidance, our aim at Arrow Vale is to ensure that we deliver the very best careers education to all students in Year 10. Throughout year 10 there are subject based CEIAG activities led by industry professionals and presentations followed by Q&A. These are delivered in person or virtually. There are also a number of industry professionals and bodies offering apprenticeships and traineeships who come in and deliver bespoke assemblies. Each year 10 student is encouraged to use the Prospects website or www.icould.com which enable and empower them to take ownership of their own career’s pathway. Towards the end of year 10 students will undertake a week’s work experience in local employment.
