08 Mar RSA Conference for Newly Qualified Teachers
Saturday 10th February saw the first ever RSA conference for newly and recently qualified teachers. The event was held at The Assay Studios in central Birmingham and attracted national guest speakers from the education world.
Opening the conference was Dr. Debra Kidd, a leading speaker on social justice and an educational author and blogger. Colleagues then attended workshops on a range of topics, from Women in Education, to Inspiring the Next Generation. The conference was closed by Sue Cowley who is a leading expert on behaviour management. Teachers from across the Midlands attended the conference hosted by the RSA Academies Teaching School Alliance and the feedback was extremely positive.
As a National Teaching School, RSA Academy Arrow Vale is at the forefront of teacher training and development, and we are able to provide excellent opportunities for our staff.
