16 Mar Sport Relief 2020
On Thursday the 12th of March and Friday the 13th of March, events were carried out by the Student Leadership team to fundraise for Comic Relief!
On Thursday, the Sports Committee hosted a Teacher’s Sports event – which saw a variety of teachers participating (quite competitively) in an obstacle course, even allowing the chance for students to join in! It was great fun for all and set the pace for the main day.
On Friday it was non-school uniform day for the whole school, with many kind-hearted students bringing in more than the minimum of £1 as a donation! The Bake Sale was a massive
success under the control of Sophie Hands (Year 12) and Demi James (Year 12), from homemade brownies to a rainbow cake – all of which sold out completely!
As a school, we managed to raise a grand total of £747.63! This is an absolutely incredible amount! From me, Riley Gibbons and the Charity committee, we would like to say thank you to everyone who was involved and donated. Your money will change lives for the better and go towards an extraordinary organisation. Thank you! 😊
Thank you for your support.
Jessica Onions (Year 13 – Charity Committee Leader)
