21 Jun Visit by author Non Pratt to Arrow Vale
Young Adult author Non Pratt will be visiting Arrowvale RSA Academy in Redditch on Wednesday 21st June to talk to over 200 pupils from local schools about her books and in particular her new book Truth or Dare. She will also provide visuals for a fun, interactive pop quiz. She will get students thinking about where we find stories and to look beyond books to films, TV, the news – what do stories tell us about the world – do they reflect the truth or the teller? Her sessions aim to promote discussion and spark inspiration in a teen audience and encourage them to think critically of the paradigms presented to them through music, film and TV as well as books.
A powerful and moving novel about bravery from the Guardian’s “writer to watch” Non Pratt, perfect for fans of Rainbow Rowell, John Green and Holly Bourne. How far is too far when it comes to the people you love? Claire Casey hates being the centre of attention. But if it means getting Sef Malik to notice her, it’s a risk she’s happy to take. Sef is prepared to do anything to help his recently disabled brother. But this means putting Claire’s love – and life – on the line. Because when you’re willing to risk everything, what is there left to lose?
