05 Oct Year 11 GCSE Photography Students
In October we took our year 11 GCSE Photography students on a trip to Packwood House. Making use of our National Trust membership, students were able to go for free, and take photographs of the grounds and the property for their coursework.
Students have two projects to finish between now and Christmas which make up 60% of their grade – one based on the Human Figure, the other based on Architecture – so having the opportunity to get out on location to take photos was really good for their portfolios.
One student said ‘I really enjoyed the trip, and it was really beneficial to my project to be able to go somewhere so amazing to take photos’.
We also had excellent feedback from the staff at Packwood House, with comments about how smart the students looked and how polite they were – which is always lovely to hear!
Keep working hard year 11, and you will all do brilliantly in your GCSE.
